Our Mission
The LEAP Division is committed to the success of every Ventura College student, grounded in the belief that learning, equity, achievement, and persistence are interconnected. We provide a comprehensive network of support through the Learning Center, Tutoring Center, Testing Center, Success Lab, Basic Needs Center, and Dreamers Resource Center, helping students build academic skills, access essential resources, overcome barriers, and remain engaged in their educational journeys.
LEAP also advances high-quality, accessible, and innovative learning across Ventura College. Through Distance Education and educational technology, the Institutional Accessibility Support Center, and Zero Textbook Cost and Open Educational Resources initiatives, we support equitable access to learning across instructional modalities. Our Student Equity work strengthens belonging and addresses disparities in student outcomes, while our partnership with Ventura College East Campus extends learning resources and academic support to students throughout the communities we serve.
