Federal Direct Loan Processing Delay for Fall 2026 Loans
Due to recent changes to the Federal Direct Loan Program and required system updates, Ventura College is experiencing delays in processing Federal Direct Loan requests for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Students may continue to submit Federal Direct Loan Request forms and any required documentation; however, loan processing and awarding will take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience as we implement these changes to ensure your loan eligibility is determined accurately and in compliance with federal regulations.
