ORIENTATION

• To complete the orientation use the side toolbar to open the student support drop down window
• Click on the link that says "Student Orientation"

• Don't miss out on financial aid! You may be eligible for financial assistance to help pay for your education at Ventura College.
• Financial aid applications must be submitted every year. For the following academic year, apply between October 1 and March 2 whenever possible. If you are admitted after March 2, apply as soon as possible.

• We highly recommend completing the FAFSA or CADAA, as you may qualify for more types of financial aid than through the CCPG application alone.

Contact Financial Aid for questions.

Your transcripts help us make sure the work you have done already counts. Once they’re on file, your counselors can see what you have already completed to help you create an educational plan that fits your needs.

• Submit official high school or college transcript to Admissions & Records. Transcripts can be sent electronically through your school's transcript ordering service or by delivering a sealed physical copy.
  • All Veteran Students: Submit official Joint Services Transcripts to Admissions & Records
  • Noncredit Students: Do not need to send official transcripts
  • Dual Enrollment Students: Do not need to send official or unofficial transcripts
    • For detailed information about Dual Enrollment, visit the Dual Enrollment page.

When you enroll through CCCStart, your answers determine your residency status—whether you are classified as a California resident or a nonresident student. Your acceptance email includes your residency determination, which determines your tuition rate.

• Your acceptance email contains your residency determination for tuition purposes.
• Review your residency determination, and if you have questions or believe that your residency determination is incorrect contact Admissions & Records
• Dual Enrollment Students: Do not need to complete this step

For detailed information about Registration, visit the Residency page.
