Speech Studio Tutors
I am a recent graduate of Ventura College currently enrolled in my first year at CSUCI. I enjoy tutoring students in both speech and writing to help them achieve their academic goals. I've worked closely with Professors Tran, Harmon, Sanders, Beynon, and Guelcher.
Hello, everyone! I am Melanie Hernandez! I'm a patient and supportive tutor who focuses on helping students truly understand the material, not just memorize it. Whether it's writing, public speaking, or critical thinking, I tailor my approach to fit each student's learning style and goals. I have worked closely with Professor Gamble and am his embedded tutor this semester.
As a tutor for Intro to Communication, I bring patience, empathy, and consideration to every session, helping students feel confident and heard as they build their skills. I am to create a supportive environment where learning feels approachable and meaningful. I have worked closely with Professor Walker and am familiar with her course expectations and teaching style.
