  • Submit official high school or college transcripts to Admissions & Records
  • Visit Assessment for the latest information

  • Schedule a Group Counseling Session to develop 1st semester educational  plan

DUAL ENROLLMENT - I am in high school and want to take college classes.

APPLY

  • Students age 13 and up: Apply for admissions to Ventura College
    • Students age 12 and under: apply in person at Admissions & Records
  • Activate MyVCCCD student portal after your acceptance email is received
  • Complete the Recommendation Form with principal or designee
    • All recommended college classes must be listed
  • Complete Memorandum with parent/guardian
  • Obtain unofficial high school transcript
  • Turn in completed Dual Enrollment packet to Admissions & Records for approval
    • Homeschool students only: Turn in Private School Affidavit
  • Clear prerequisites with a Ventura College Counselor

 

REGISTER

  • Register for approved classes through MyVCCCD student portal on the Register/Pay tab
    • Students 8th grade or lower only: Must have written permission from the college instructor prior to being able to register
  • Students enrolled as dual enrollment are exempt from paying enrollment fees - All other fees apply

INTERNATIONAL - I want to attend Ventura College on an F-1 Visa.

    • This is required every semester in order to receive benefits
  • Service members using Tuition Assistance: bring TA approval to the Student Business Office
