Constitution & Bylaws

The Associated Students of Ventura College exists to serve the individual and collective needs  of the students of Ventura College. To support them in this process, ASVC established a constitution of self-governance, which serves as a directive for all of their procedures, as does all laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures set forth by the Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) Board of Trustees, the California Education Code, any other laws of the State of California, and/or the laws of the United States of America.



Agendas and Minutes:

The Associated Students of Ventura College post their meeting agendas in one glass bulletin board enclosure on the outside of the Student Center Study Lounge.

Weekly Board Meetings:

ASVC Board meetings take place in the Student Center Study Lounge Multi-Purpose Room, located in the Student Activities Office in the Campus Center. Fall 2019 Meetings will be held every Tuesday from 3:30 PM-5 PM with the exception of campus closures.

ASVC abides by the California Open Meeting Act; as such, it must post its agendas at least 72 hours (three days) in advance of the meeting date/time.

Inter-Club Council Monthly Meetings:
