Free Bus Transportation for Ventura College Students
Ventura College students can ride any bus in Ventura County for free through the College Ride Program.
This program allows currently enrolled students to travel throughout Ventura County at no cost using public transit services supported by the Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC).
How to Ride for Free
- Show your valid Ventura College student ID when boarding the bus
- If you do not yet have your student ID at the beginning of the term, you may show the driver your current class schedule
This benefit applies to students attending:
- Ventura College (VC)
- Moorpark College (MC)
- Oxnard College (OC)
Student IDs must display the current academic year to be accepted.

Visit the Compass Center to obtain your Ventura College student ID.
If you are unable to afford the cost of a student ID card, visit the Ventura College or Ventura College East Campus Basic Needs Center for assistance.
