The Basic Needs Center and Pirates Cove (Food Pantry and Essentials) will be closed in observance of all VCCCD District holidays.

Hours of Operation
- Monday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Restocking Closure:
Closed from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Ventura College Basic Needs program took me in like family. They understood my needs as a student athlete. The BNC helped me with countless resources. I especially love the pantry. It’s stocked with everyday needs like fruits, vegetables, frozen foods, even laundry detergent. I knew that I could stop in and get a snack and a drink everyday. They also help with housing and showers and are always available to talk to students who have a lot on their shoulders. I am forever grateful for my family at the BNC.
