Jennifer Suarez-Tan will be performing Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 26, Movement 2 the evening of Sunday, July 18th at 7pm.
Jennifer Suarez-Tan has been studying the violin for six years and has participated in numerous orchestras and chamber groups. She has been involved with the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra (CVYO) for two years and was with the Colburn Youth Orchestra (CYO) for one year.
At Agoura High School she plays with her school orchestra. Over the summer, she has been with the Idyllwild Chamber Festival Orchestra and their Symphony Orchestra Intensive. Outside of orchestral playing she has played with her peers in Junior Chamber Music (JCM) and has done solo performances in events like the MTAC State Convention and Contemporary Music Festival. This year she is scheduled to do a solo performance with the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic.
