Dolores Huerta will visit Ventura College on April 13 as part of our Diversity in Culture Festival. She will speak at 9 a.m. on our Main Stage and follow up with a short Q&A session. This in-person event is free and open to the public.

Dolores Huerta is a celebrated Latina labor leader, activist and community organizer. She has worked for civil rights and social justice for over 50 years. In 1962 she and Cesar Chavez founded the United Farm Workers union. She served as vice-president and played a critical role in many of the union’s accomplishments for four decades.
