Costume Design and Technology

Ventura College students can choose courses in Costume Design, Costume Technology, Costume History, and Makeup through the Theatre Arts Department. The Ventura College Performing Arts Center houses a newly renovated costume shop with a beautiful beach view, a full wardrobe and laundry room, two dressing and makeup rooms, and plentiful storage for our ever-growing costume, wig and fabric collections. There are work-study opportunities for students in the costume shop and on productions.  We are currently building a Certificate of Technical Education in Wardrobe Arts for which students can begin coursework.
