Tenant improvements for the new Business Services Office location at the VC Administration Building. Renovations include removal and replacement of existing interior wall-finishes, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and communications systems, suspended ceiling, and lighting fixtures. We will also be reframing the wall between the office and testing center as well as the east window frames and upgrading the windows.

Replacement of the (2) Boilers & (4) Heating & Ventilating Units for the Large Gym. Currently, units are suspended from the roof, and two exhaust fans are suspended from the concrete structure beneath the bleachers, east of the Gymnasium on the roof. The new work involves the demolition of these air handling units and exhaust fans and the installation of replacement of in-kind equipment.

Develop an ADA path of travel from the ECT building to the southern section of the Avocado orchard, future Greenhouse, and existing Hoop House. Work includes excavation, compaction, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement per project specifications.
Grading of the existing native soil and constructing a continuous concrete footing and slab on grade for a greenhouse. A trench drain shall be installed at the center of the slab, sloped for proper drainage, and connected to a French drain system to manage runoff. LRC remodel to resolve leaking from the KALWALL translucent roof & wall components leading to mineral buildup and damage to adjacent interior finishes. Design will keep the natural light, but prevent future leaks and negative impact to the interior finishes as well as provide means for maintenance.
The existing 2000 kVA transformer is over 50 years old, not sufficient for PV system to be connected at full capacity & to satisfy existing and future needs. Upgrade the Campus SCE substation with new structures to support an upgraded SCE service. Approx. (2) years from conception to completion. Phase 1 - application to SCE & concept plans for SCE approval. Phase 2 - submission to DSA.
