Hobbies:  Hike, play guitar, make and record music, watch Horror films, thrifting, vinyl hunting at Amoeba, go to concerts and festivals, travel and sightsee

Something Fun, interesting, and/ or unique about you: I love seeking out music from every genre and I myself play guitar and piano. One day I would like to record and release music under a solo project and one day perform live, if possible, at my favorite festival like Coachella or Lollapalooza.

Family: My immediate family is a family of 5 with me as the youngest of 3 kids. My brother and sister are 10 & 13 years older than me! I also have a beautiful niece and nephew.

Hobbies: As of recently, I'm into playing Tennis!

Something Fun/unique: I am a self-proclaimed French Toast connoisseur. 😋

Years at VC: 1 month

Family: Oldest sibling of 4 kids (2 sisters and one brother) My family is from Oxnard but I now live in Woodland Hills with my boyfriend and our two puppies 😊

Hobbies: Going to Disneyland, Traveling, Playing Video Games (Nintendo Switch) and Board Games, Binge watching shows (my fav is The Office), Going to sporting events (mainly baseball and football)

Favorite food: Sushi, In n Out, or Mexican food

Favorite Movie or book: 50 First Dates and Just Go with It

Favorite Song: I listen to a lot of different genres but my go to artists are either The Weeknd or Dua Lipa

Something unique or interesting about you: I played soccer for almost 18 years before I stopped due to an ACL injury, but during that time I had the opportunity to train with both the US Women’s National Team and the Mexico Women’s National Team.

Name: Eddie Beltran

Primary role at the college: Interim Dean, VCEC

Years of Service: 7 years w/ VCCCD, First year with Ventura College

Family: Wife Rosemary, two daughters Olivia (7) and Emily (5)

Hobbies: All things food related, I especially enjoy a good food tour when traveling. Big Dodger and Laker fan, as I'm writing this Fernando Valenzuela is having his #34 Jersey retired. I enjoy anything sports related, have recently become an avid camper. Began surfing during the pandemic, many wipeouts, but many more memories building community and floating around staring into the horizon. I enjoy family get togethers, a good binge on Netflix, guessing which movie a line is from, but most of all raising my two beautiful daughters and trying to be the best husband and Girl Dad possible.

Favorite Food: I have two simple favorite dishes, my mom’s rajas tacos (green chile slices in a corn tortilla with melted Monterey cheese, and second, a hot bowl of frijoles de la hoya (pinto beans soup).

Favorite Movie: Tombstone because “I’m your huckleberry.”

Something fun, interesting, and/or unique about you: Prior career in the Music Industry, Tour Management. Someone clearly missed my impressive air guitar skills.
