Anne King, Executive Director

The Ventura College Foundation presented 537 scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year totaling $1,037,741.82 during its 36th Annual Scholarship Awards ceremony on May 16 at the Ventura College Athletic Center.

Of the 393 scholarship recipients, many received multiple scholarships. At minimum, each student received a $1,000 scholarship. Scholarship recipients come from all different backgrounds with different education and career goals.

Each year, the Ventura College Foundation’s Scholarship Review Committee evaluates scholarship applications and scores them following a specific scoring scale. Those who meet all the application requirements and have the highest scores receive scholarships. This past year over $23,459.95 in scholarships were awarded to 9 veterans who applied. We encourage all of our veterans to apply for a chance at multiple scholarship awards.
