The Technology and Workplace Competencies program was designed to provide students with the technology and workplace skills to enhance their employability and provide value to employers. Students will complete these non-credit courses with assessments documenting their achievements of workplace skills. Both students desiring to enter the workforce and incumbent employees desiring general business and technical skills or promotion will benefit from this program. The program is designed to provide additional employment skills, including the "soft skills" that are most desired and valued by employers. Students who successfully complete this program may continue their education by taking additional courses that lead to a Certificate of Achievement or an Associate Degree in a career pathway. As part of the program, they will evaluate their own career interests and aptitudes.
The program is directed at the appropriate level for the community college students.
