Major: Natural Science
Years at Ventura College: 3 years
Family Life: I am the youngest of two siblings.
Hobbies: Drawing/Painting, Photography, and Baking.

Something fun, interesting, and/or unique about you: I love going to the movies and watching a random movie without watching the trailer.
Name: Ann Nelson
Primary role at the college: Administrative Assistant- Financial Aid and Basic Needs Offices
Years of Service: 7 years with the District, then 3 years at VC. Before coming to VC, I worked in Human Resources at the District Office.
Family: Husband, 2 kids (ages 9 and 4), and 2 energetic boxer pups
Hobbies: Anything outdoors - Hiking, swimming, going to the beach, gardening. I also have a love for older houses. My favorites are Spanish and Craftsman style homes from the 1920's-1930's.
Favorite Food: Italian Food
Favorite Movie: Love Actually and The Sandlot
Favorite Song: I listen mostly to classic and alternative rock. My favorite artists right now are Jack Johnson, Ray LaMontagne, and Adele.
Something fun, interesting, and/or unique about you: Before getting my Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, I spent 17 years as a youth aquatics coach teaching kids ages 4 - 17 how to swim and play water polo.
