Transfer Students need to meet the minimum criteria listed below:

  • Minimum of 60 transferable semester units with a GPA of 2.0 or better
  • Complete the Golden 4 with C or better
    • Writing Communication: ENGL C1000 (ENGL VO1A)
    • Critical Thinking (choose 1 course)
    • Oral Communication: COMM C1000 (COMM V110 formerly COMM V01)
    • Mathematical/Quantitative Reasoning: STAT C1000 (STAT V44 formerly MATH V44)
  • Meet with a VC counselor or develop a comprehensive Education Plan
    • This education plan needs to include major preparation and required GE courses
  • Attend transfer 101 Workshops early
  • Attend CSUN transfer workshop
