"Melodies in Bloom" Featuring Our Symphony and Chamber Orchestras
Join us for one performance this Saturday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m. at the Ventura College Performing Arts Outdoor Theatre.
The Ventura College Chamber Orchestra and the Ventura College Symphony Orchestra (Ashley Walters, conductor) will present “Melodies in Bloom.” This program will feature music by VC Professor Andrew Tholl and Los Angeles composer Harold Budd, who was noted for his collaborations with art-pop artists like Brian Eno and Cocteau Twins and for the spaciousness and calm of his music. Dvořák's exuberant ”American" Quartet and Beethoven's revolutionary "Eroica" Symphony will also be featured.
The concert will be performed live on the VC Performing Arts Center Lawn. Bring your favorite chair and join us! Please purchase tickets in advance online.
