FREE Lunchtime Concert
Ventura College's Laurel Project presents The Pan Afrikan Peoples Arktet with conductor Fundi Legohn (current director of Ventura College's Jazz Band and Jazz program). Performers include Maia (flute/vocals), Kafi Roberts (flute), Michael Sessions (soprano sax), Chris Powe (alto sax), Tatiana Tate (trumpet), William Roper (tuba), Jameal Dean (piano), Trevor Ware (bass) and Donald Dean (drums). This afternoon concert celebrates the Arktet which is still performing after 65 years!
