The guest speaker Dr. Josepha Baca is the Dean of Student Learning for the Division of Business, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Child Development & Languages at Moorpark College.
Dr. Baca has previously served as the interim Dean of Career Education at Oxnard College, Department Chair, and tenured faculty in Business at Moorpark College. In addition, she has served as a Program Director of Contract Education and Economic Development, has been a Member of the South-Central Coast Regional Consortium, served on the Statewide Perkins Joint Special Populations Advisory Committee for Equity and Access, and has been active in college, district, and regional committees.
Dr. Baca is a proud graduate of Ventura College, holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from Cal Lutheran University, a Masters in Education, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
