Join us in celebrating Black History Month at our weekly webinar series every Thursday during February. In partnership with the Black Student Union, Classified Staff, Faculty, and Administrators, the Associated Students of Ventura College invite you to celebrate and advocate for Black Culture, Traditions, Education, History, and Arts.

The first webinar will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Noon via zoom and will highlight VC Black Leadership. The Speakers will be made up of VC Leadership that will share their personal and professional backgrounds, challenges they faced and how they overcame them, how they got to their leadership roles, and what advice they have for students.

Week 2: Thursday, February 11 at Noon: History of Black History Month
Week 3: Thursday February 18 at 3:00 PM: Ventura County Leadership Panel with MC/OC/VC
Week 4: Thursday February 25 at Noon: Highlighting Local Black Musicians & History of Hip Hop
