About
VC Voices publishes work by undergraduate, staff writers, students and artists at Ventura College. We invite submissions of poetry, short stories, creative nonfiction chapters of novels, a variety of plays, essays, photography, and artwork. We do not accept previously published work. VC Voices also publishes work from the VC Future Voices ASVC Club branches: VC Student Zine, The People's Prologue, Eta Zeta Honor Society, and The Creative Writing Collective.
How to Submit
Register and submit your online submission as a post at www.myvcvoices.com.
Instead of a traditional print publication, VC Voices is now entirely online. We are now able to publish a wider variety of work, and we’ll be able to share it openly with the larger community interested in Ventura College
While traditionally VC Voices published essays written in various English classes, one of our top priorities is to branch out and include written work and art from as many areas of study as possible. We want this to be a diverse publication in its content and style. When we’re all done, we hope to have a fun, vibrant, engaging collection of work from students to showcase.
