The  Sciences Division provides a comprehensive curriculum including Agriculture (beginning Fall 2017), Anatomy, Anthropology, Astronomy, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science and Resource Management (ESRM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Geology, Microbiology, Physics and Physiology. We offer Associates degrees in Biology, Engineering and Physical Science/Engineering Technology, and we provide training in Biotechnology leading to the  Biotechnology Certificate that can open the door for employment in the burgeoning biotechnology industry. We also offer the gateway prerequisite courses to the Nursing Program.  Our courses articulate well with other academic institutions leading to a successful transfer to the CSU and UC systems.
