About Ventura College's Distance Education Program
Ventura College offers convenient, expanded access to higher education and learning opportunities via distance education. Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology. Distance Education courses are ideal for independent, self-directed, and motivated students who have functional computers at their home or office and have access to broad band internet on an ongoing basis. Distance Education has become a common learning method for students who are seeking to achieve their educational goals.
