Counseling

Located in the Student Services Center (SSC), the Ventura College Counseling Office is open days and evenings for counseling appointments and drop-by counseling. Our dynamic counselors can assist you with academic, career, transfer, or personal counseling. Counseling Services provides a variety of resources to help you achieve the greatest possible benefit from your college experience.

Drop-by Counseling

For brief questions, you may "drop-by" our Counseling Office.  Daytime and evening hours are available.  Please call (805) 654-6448  for today's hours.

Students are served in a first-come, first-serve basis.  Counselors will make every effort to see students in a timely manner.

Drop-by counseling is designed to assist students who have questions/issues that can be completed immediately and will require no more than 15 minutes.

Drop-by counseling is subject to change without notice  even between the time you call in to the time you actually check in at the Information Desk.

• Please prioritize your questions
• State all of your counseling needs at the beginning of the session (example: financial aid appeal, CSU-GE/IGETC certification, application for graduation, etc)
• Bring all your necessary paperwork/transcripts to be reviewed
