Transfer Center

The Transfer Center's primary purpose is to assist you in successfully transferring to the college of your choice. We provide student services to facilitate a smooth transition from a two-year college to a four-year institution. Come to the Transfer Center on campus or call (805) 654-6473 to take advantage of the following services:

• Conduct workshops on how to earn admission to the UC, CSU, private and out-of-state schools and colleges.
• Host visits from university and college representatives that recruit prospective students and the 20 questions you should ask them.
• Organize tours to local universities and colleges.
• Conduct financial aid workshops for students that are transferring.
• Host an annual Transfer Day: Over 50 universities and colleges are represented!
• Provide a reference library of resources.
• Provide resource materials such as videos, college guides, financial aid and scholarship information, and study abroad resources.
• Offer college catalogs from various universities and colleges.
• Offer onsite computers with Internet access to conduct your own research.
• Provide assistance for the following Transfer Admission Agreement Programs:
  • California State University, Northridge
  • California State University, Channel Islands
  • University of California, Davis
  • University of California, Santa Barbara
  • University of California, Santa Cruz

Note: Students are encouraged to meet with a Ventura College counselor at least once per semester to plan, create, and complete transfer goals.
