Become a Tutor

If you are interested in helping others, want a great teaching experience, have good communication skills, are dependable, have enthusiasm for the subject matter and received a grade of A or B in the course being tutored; contact the Tutorial Services Specialist in the Center or at (805) 648-8926. All tutors are required to receive orientation and training. Volunteer Tutors are kindly accepted. Paid tutors average about 5-10 hours per week; and cannot exceed 20 hours per week. The salary rate is based upon the current rate set by the Ventura County Community College District.
