VC Voices, the former literary magazine published through the English Department, is getting a bit of a facelift this semester. Instead of our traditional print publication, we’re going entirely online. This is exciting because it means we’ll be able to publish a wider variety of work, and we’ll be able to share it openly with the larger community interested in Ventura College.
While traditionally VC Voices published essays written in various English classes, one of our top priorities is to branch out and include written work and art from as many areas of study as possible. We want this to be a diverse publication in its content and style. When we’re all done, we hope to have a fun, vibrant, engaging collection of work to show off.
If you’re eager to publish your work, please visit our website: http://vcvoices.org.
From there, you’ll simply need to register with the website. Once you’ve registered, you are welcome to submit your work by clicking the “Submit Here” tab and following the instructions clearly listed below. We welcome all kinds of writing and art, so please consider sharing your work with readers here at Ventura College and the larger community by publishing online with VC Voices!
