VENTURA COLLEGE LIBRARY TEXTBOOK LENDING PROGRAM
The college has instituted this program to help students and to support their educational goals. Students participating in this program are encouraged to arrive prepared with their photo identification, course schedule, and patience. Students will be expected to adhere to the following requirements:
· MUST BE A VC STUDENT with their PHOTO IDENTIFICATION, a copy of their CLASS SCHEDULE and a TEXTBOOK LIST.
· VC ENROLLED COURSES ONLY--ONE COPY PER TEXT—FIVE BOOK LIMIT. Students will NOT be allowed to check out texts for courses enrolled in at other colleges.
· NO WAIT LIST CLASSES. Students will NOT be allowed to check out books for wait listed classes.
· STUDENTS MAY NOT SEND OTHERS TO CHECK OUT TEXTS FOR THEM. Please do not send family members or friends to do for you as they will not be allowed to check them out for you.
· NO HOLDS. The Library will NOT place texts on hold for students.
· STUDENTS MUST BE CLEAR OF OVERDUE BOOKS AND HAVE NO FINES ATTACHED TO THEIR RECORDS. Students are encouraged to clear up their records before the dates listed below. We will not stop to do it for you during the textbook lending hours.
· STUDENTS ARE ASKED NOT TO SAVE PLACES IN LINE FOR FAMILY OR FRIENDS. Students are asked to please be respectful of others waiting in line.
· ONLY STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE LIBRARY DURING LENDING LIBRARY HOURS. Students are asked not to bring friends or family members with them during the lending library hours as they will be asked to wait outside. Exceptions: students with disabilities.
THE LIBRARY STAFF WILL WORK HARD TO GET YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS AS FASTAS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND COOPERATION.

Wednesday, August 12 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, August 13 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Regular Fall Semester hours begin Saturday, August 15, 9a.m-3p.m. |
