VENTURA COLLEGE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES THEIR

4TH ANNUAL HALL OF FAME CEREMONY


The Ventura College Athletic Association would like to announce the selection of six (6) new members into the Athletic Hall of Fame. These six outstanding athletes represent fifty years of athletic tradition at Ventura College. They will be formally inducted on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 4pm at the Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel. Additionally, the Ventura College Athletic Association will honor current Ventura College student athletes from all eighteen (18) intercollegiate programs and present awards for Male and Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, Male and Female Coach of the Year, and Male and Female Athlete of the Year.

The 2010 Hall of Fame class is as follows:

Tom Chivington, VC tennis; 1955-1957

Jim Crockom, VC Basketball; 1950-1952

Darryl Downey, VC football; 1968-1970

Brandt Jackson, VC football and baseball; 1965-1967

Brandon Jessie, VC basketball; 1992-1994

Monique Taylor, VC basketball; 2000-2002
