The Ventura College Music Department will present a series of concerts in the Ventura College Theatre between Tuesday, May 6 and Saturday, May 10. All performances will begin at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets for each of these concerts are $15.00 general admission and $5.00 for students, and are available at the door prior to each performance.
New compositions by Ventura College Students will be presented on Tuesday evening, May 6.
Chamber Music Ensembles will perform on Wednesday evening, May 7.
The Ventura College Jazz Band will present a concert on Thursday evening, May 8.
The Ventura College Community Orchestra, with Professor E. Burns Taft directing, will present “Orchestra Rhapsody” consisting of Bach’s Brandenberg Concerto #5, the Vivaldi Summer Concerto and the Wagner Siegfried Idyll on Saturday evening, May 10. Soloists for the evening will include Katherine Helms, Irving Weinstein, Rebecca Vrba and Joshua Hong.
