VENTURA COLLEGE PSYCHOLOGY CLUB PRESENTS “THINK BEFORE YOU DRINK” EVENT
The Psychology Club at Ventura College is sponsoring its annual "THINK" (Think Before You Drink) event on Wednesday, March 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. between the Learning Resource Center (LRC) and the Science building lawn at Ventura College, 4667 Telegraph Road, Ventura.
The main focus of THINK is to increase awareness of the dangers of binge drinking/drug use in the college population and its potential aftermath. There will be a number of guest speakers, including keynote speaker Officer Tony Pedeferri, information and referral booths, a "Beer Goggles" obstacle course, Jaws of Life demonstration, and other activities.
