The Ventura College, Theatre Arts, Music and Dance programs invite the public to attend their Open House Celebration on Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 3-8 p.m., 4667 Telegraph Road, Ventura (Theatre Entrance on Loma Vista).
Experience the NEWLY RENOVATED Performing Arts Center located on campus, and enjoy dynamic sessions of classical and jazz, chorus and solos, dance and acting classes, make-up and theatrical scenes. The day will include magical facility tours that lead you through an explosion of theatre, music and dance. Catch preview scenes from an up and coming production of Pirates of Penzance . . . join in on make-up sessions and acting for film class. Eat up a live Jazz New Orleans Bistro-style reception, and then journey into the main theatre for an explosion of choir and orchestra joined by child prodigy virtuoso pianist and guest artist, Llewelyn Sanchez-Werner.
