Register now with Ventura College Community Education for a wide variety of summer classes, workshops, and seminars for both professional development and personal enrichment.
Professional development opportunities include a new, ServSafeŽ Training and Certification class for individuals working in the food service industry. Instructor Scot Masters is a ServSafeŽ certified instructor for the National Restaurant Association.
Communication Toolbox for Supervisors and Managers will be taught by Dr. Kay Faulconer Boger. A retired dean from Ventura College, Dr. Boger will teach participants how to use effective communication skills to enhance productivity in the workplace.
Additional professional development classes include a variety of computer applications workshops, Social Media Marketing, Build Your Own Business Website,and an online course titled Starting a Consulting Practice.
Personal enrichment classes include An Introduction to Latin, Canine Agility, Outrigger Canoeing, Savvy Social Security Planning, Write a Cookbook – Get It Published, The Art of Ghost Hunting, I’ve Always Wanted to Play the Harp, and many others.
Community Education classes are self-supporting and do not confer college credits. More than 100 online classes are available 24 hours a day to meet the continuing education needs of busy adults.
