| The Ventura College Jazz Band will present its fall concert with two guest performers, James Wrubel on piano and James Walker on trombone. James is currently studying medicine at Touro University, and James Walker is a senior at CSUN in the jazz studies program. This concert will feature musical arrangements by director, Leslie Drayton, of jazz standards composed by: Miles Davis, Joe Zawinul, Sonny Rollins, Billy Strayhorn, Joe Henderson, Horace Silver, and Edith Piaf. Tunes performed will be Four, Recorda Me, Lotus Blossom, Tenor Madness, Bernie's Tune, Song For My Father, La Vie En Rose, and Birdland. The concert will take place on Thursday, December 8 at 8:00 in the Wright Library located on the Ventura College campus Address is: 57 Day Rd.
