Ventura College East Campus in Santa Paula is now open for registration with a semester full of classes and resources available to the community. Visit the new East Campus Student Services Office and register today. Classes begin August 16, 2010.
East Campus courses include Child Development; Computer Fundamentals; Computer Office Assistant; Criminal Justice; English Composition; English as a Second Language (ESL); ESL for Child Development (new); Interior Design; Microsoft Excel; Medical Assisting; Psychology; and Sociology. Evening courses offered at Fillmore High School are Art Appreciation; American Sign Language; English as a Second Language; Health and Wellness; History; and Psychology.
No parking permit is required. Free academic and career counseling, financial aid assistance, and Math, English, and ESL assessments are available. The Library and Learning Resources Center is available to all Ventura College students and includes a computer lab with high speed internet, Wi-Fi, and a wealth of software programs such as self-paced GED preparation, accent reduction, and TypingInstructor. The Library and Learning Resources Center also offers tutorial programs in ESL, medical assisting, and more.
