1. I need a schedule of classes for the current semester and a College Catalog of the
programs and requirements at Ventura College. How do I get that information?

The online version of the Schedule of Classes is the most current, since it is updated regularly. On campus, the printed Schedule of Classes is available in the library, the counseling office, at the switchboard and at a number of other sites. In addition, the printed Schedule of Classes is available at llibraries, city halls, and chambers of commerce throughout the county. If you want a hard copy of the current catalog, please visit the college bookstore, where you can purchase a copy for $3. If you go through the matriculation process, you will receive a copy of the catalog for free. We do mail a copy of the Schedule, upon request, from the Public Relations Office - call 805-654-6462. For current events on campus, media contacts, club information and lots of other materials, feel free to check the website or call our officel. 2. What does the Ventura College Public Relations and Marketing Office do?
Back to TopThe Public Relations and Marketing Office serves a variety of functions. We are part of the Office of the President of Ventura College and we are responsible for responding to requests for information from students and the community as a whole. We handle all media contacts and dissemination of news releases and current campus events information to faculty, staff, students, the media and the community. We handle print and broadcast advertising for Ventura College, and assist with special events and tours of the campus. Campus informational publications such as the magazine Career Focus, the Foundation's Annual Report to the Community, reports of the president to the board and the community, brochures and other promotional materials also are handled by our office.
3. How do I arrange a tour of the Ventura College Campus?
Back to TopGroup tours are conducted as a part of the New Student Orientation and are coordinated within the Ventura College Matriculation offices at the Student Services Center (SSC), Room 102. Individual tours are not being offered at this time, however, individuals may participate in scheduled group tours. Schedules of Campus Tours and New Student Orientation are available in Matriculation and at the Student Services Center Information Desk. Please call (805) 654-6400 ext. 1302 for a group orientation appointment.
