A full-time student is 12 or more units per semester. If you will be receiving Financial Assistance, there are some unit considerations that you should be aware. In order to receive full assistance, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units. However, if you are working, then you should consider taking fewer units. Many students who work try to push their load with too many units. It is suggested that you take a realistic load and perhaps increase your unit load the following semester. Begin by sharpening your academic skills and building your confidence. Just learning how Ventura College works and how you can optimize your time represents a challenge. Pace yourself as a student to prepare for your long-term success.
