Enrollment Fees
You are required to pay your fees immediately upon registration or you will be dropped from your courses. If you drop your class(es) after the refund/credit deadline you will be responsible for all fees owed.
The Board of Governors Enrollment Fee Waiver (BOGW) only provides a waiver of enrollment and health fees to qualifying students who are California residents. For information on eligibility, see Class Schedule or the Financial Aid Office.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid “FAFSA” covers both federal and state financial aid programs. The financial aid application is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
You may also be eligible to set up a monthly payment plan.
Fees may be paid by cash, check or money order, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover. Include your student ID number and CA driver’s license number on your check or money orders. All returned checks and credit card chargebacks will be assessed a $10 service fee.
Health Fees
Students are required to pay a health fee which entitles you to use a variety of health care services in the Student Health Center. There are some exceptions, as described in the schedule of classes.
Parking Fees
A parking permit is required to park on campus. Citations will be issued to vehicles without a valid permit. Permits may be purchased through the Student Business Office or MyVCCCD.
Student Center Fee
Students of Ventura College enacted a student center fee of $1.00 per unit up to a maximum of $10 per student per fiscal year.
ASB Card
A $6 per semester or$10 per year fee is an optional fee and it entitles students to discounts on and off campus. You may order one at MyVCCCD or in the Student Business Office.
Ventura College Promise
If you are a recent high school graduate, you may qualify for the Ventura Promise program. The Ventura Promise pays college tuition and fees for the first year.
