Athletic Programs:
The "Eye of Tradition" is upon you if you attend Ventura College. You will be a part of a tradition that includes multiple State basketball championships for both men and women, countless Conference championships in all 18 sports, multiple Coach-of-the-Year awards and eleven Western State Conference Sports Supremacy Award titles.
Ventura College is a member of the Western State Conference and the California League of Community Colleges/Commission on Athletics (COA). We abide by all the conference constitution, bylaws, and sports supplements. We abide by the COA Athletic Code. The Dean of Physical Education/Athletics, Athletic Counselor and the Athletic Director and the eligibility clerk determine all athletic eligibility.
Annual Events:
Transfer Day is hosted by the Ventura College Transfer Center in the Fall each year. Approximately 75 colleges and universities attend this fair in order to meet with students interested in transferring to their institutions.
Job Fair is hosted by the Ventura College Career Center in the Spring of each year. Approximately 60 area and out of area employers attend to meet with students regarding job opportunities.
