Ask a Librarian
The Ventura College Library's Ask a Librarian service is a virtual reference question and answer service. Students can post reference questions at this location and librarians will answer them within 24 hours, Monday through Saturday. Librarians receive a daily e-mail letting them know if there are any questions posted. The service is supported by the Tutoring Center's Ask Online.
Need help with that research paper? Not sure how to cite your sources? Want to know who the thirty-fourth vice-president of the United States was?
If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above, the Library is here to help. If you have a reference question or need other assistance, help from a librarian is only an e-mail way! To Ask a Librarian, simply click on the link below, type in your username, which is your student ID or 900 number and the password ventura. Librarians are notified when a question has been posted. They will do our best to answer your question as soon as they can and in no case later than 24 hours after you have posted your question, Monday-Saturday. We regret to say that we are unable to answer questions on Sundays, school holidays or during times when the Library is closed. The Ask a Librarian service is not able to proofread papers.
We look forward to hearing from you and answering your questions.
