Kindly note that not all Senate resolutions are found here due to the itinerant nature of the Office of Academic Senate President and lack of electronic access to resolutions prior to 2008. Resolutions Prior to 2008:

At a joint meeting of the Classified and Academic Senates of Ventura College it has been resolved to acknowledge the need for cancelation of classes for the 2003 4-week summer session in an effort to help balance the college budget, however, we will not accept any layoffs of classified staff during that same 4-week time period.

At a recent Academic Senate meeting it was proposed that Edith Conn be named Senator Emeritus at Ventura College with full voting rights in an effort to acknowledge her outstanding contributions and achievements at the State level.
