Required Arrival Dates for New International Students and Orientation
International Students are expected to report to the International Student office two weeks before the semester starts.

All new International Students are required to enroll in our College Orientation class for International Students. Students will receive .5 unit of credit for completing the semester class. The .5 unit of course credit is degree applicable, and also transferable to Cal State Universities.
The College Orientation Class is designed to provide new students an overall orientation to facilities, programs and services at Ventura College, students will explore occupational, certificate and degree programs as well as transfer opportunities. In addition, this class is offered to assist International Students in adapting to their new academic life and help them adjust to living in United States.
