To receive federal financial aid at Ventura College, students must be enrolled in an eligible program of study and goal offered by Ventura College. Undecided/undeclared is not an eligible program of study. In addition, Proficiency Awards and some Certificate programs are also not eligible for financial aid. Ventura College currently offers Associate Degrees, Transfer Programs, and/or Certificates of Achievement in the following majors:
*Students must be enrolled in degree programs in these majors in order to be considered for financial aid. Certificates of Achievements in these programs are currently not eligible for financial aid. In addition, Kinesiology is not currently eligible for financial aid as it is still pending State Chancellor’s approval. Also, if your program of study is not offered by Ventura College, but is offered by Oxnard or Moorpark, please contact the Financial Aid Office at that college for assistance. If you have chosen undecided/undeclared or need to change your program of study or goal, please log-on to your MyVCCCD student portal account at: http://my.vcccd.edu How to update your Program of Study and Goal on MyVCCCD: Click on the 'My College' tab Go to the 'Registration & Records' channel (located in the right side of your screen) and click on 'Student Records' Click the drop down arrow on 'Select a Term' to select current term (eg. Fall 2011) then click 'Submit'. You can now view your 'Update College, Program and Ed Goals' To declare an eligible Program/Ed Goal, click on the drop down lists and select an eligible Program/Ed. Goal Click 'Submit' when finished |
