Fast Facts for Ventura College Off-Campus Programs

Off-Campus programs serves over 800 students per semester through enrollment in off-campus classes, and assisting students through the Santa Paula site student services office and Library and Learning Resource Center.

Ventura College Off-Campus Programs bridges access to higher education for the underrepresented areas of the Santa Clara River communities.  Over 75 percent of students enrolled in off-campus classes are from Santa Paula, Fillmore and Piru.

Ventura College and Off-Campus Programs is committed to student success.  During 2011-12, the completion rate (students who completed a class) averaged 92 percent and the success rate (students achieving a passing grade) averaged 75 percent.

Committed to diversity, Ventura College has been designated a Hispanic Serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education.  Fall 2012, 47 percent of Ventura’s student body is Hispanic, and students enrolled in off-campus classes are 80 percent Hispanic.
