About the Program
The Computer Office Assistant Certificate Program trains students in Windows, MS Outlook, Keyboarding, Word, Excel, Access, Records Management, Business Math / 10Key Calculating, PowerPoint, and Job Search Techniques. Advanced students also train in QuickBooks and Desktop Publishing.

About the instructor
Peggy Castor, Business Professor, has been a full-time teacher at Ventura College since 1980. She began her career as the first full-time instructor hired at the East Campus. She then transferred to the main campus for 13 years, and has been back at the East Campus for the past 7 years.
She obtained her Associates Degree from Ventura College, and her post graduate degrees from the University of LaVerne. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Master’s degree in Business Management.
