About Us
The Community Education department at Ventura College has a commitment to provide new avenues for personal development, skill development, cultural enrichment and recreational enjoyment for all ages. Some classes are held off campus in order to extend offerings into neighboring communities. Community Education classes are offered in addition to the college's instructional program.
Courses presented by Community Education are for your information and enjoyment. They do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of Ventura College. Ventura College does not endorse any person or product. Should there be a need, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to change courses, programs or presenters.
College credit is not given for classes that are conducted by Community Education. There are NO transcripts or grades. Minimum enrollment is required for classes to start. Community Education is a self-supporting entity of Ventura College and is not funded by taxpayers' dollars.
