S.T.E.M. POWER
S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Power is a project sponsored by the STEM grant at Ventura College to provide support services to students who are considering a career in a variety of STEM majors. By participating, students will be able to:
Receive ongoing support from the Student Outreach Specialist.
Meet and create an individualized educational plan with one of our VC Counselors.
Participate in tutoring, study groups and use the student loan textbook library.
Use and get proper training on using state of the art equipment.
Learn about internships within their field of study.
Meet professionals in their field of interest.
Become competitively eligible to transfer to a university and more
Joining is simple! If you are interested in joining or would like further information, please contact Gema Espinoza, Student Outreach Specialist, at (805) 654-6400 ext.2297 or email at gema_espinoza1@vcccd.edu
