Each student must have a valid and current cardiopulmonary resuscitation card (BLS Provider or Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider) upon acceptance into the ADN nursing program. The CPR card has to remain current throughout the school semester into which you are admitted in the nursing program. CPR cards cannot expire within the school semester. Students will not be able to progress in the semester if their CPR card is not valid for the entire semester. The 2 year CPR cards are valid only for 1 year and must be renewed yearly. If your CPR card is more than 1 year old or will be more than 1 year old during the admission semester, you must renew your CPR card before entry into the nursing program.
