The Field of Insurance

The field of insurance is interesting and varied, ranging from life, property, and medical insurance for individuals and groups, to risk management for both large and small businesses. Jobs may be in the areas of sales, claims adjusting, fraud investigation, medical specialties, damage appraisal, management, and many others.

According to the 2010-11 Occupational outlook Handbook, growth in the insurance industry is expected to grow by a modest 3% through 2018.
